Release 26.11.113

Version Test release Production release Agent update
26.11.113 (November 2026) November 3, 2026 November 13, 2026 No agent update

Highlights

Release 26.11.113 is a major release that introduces a redesigned EPMware user interface. It also adds a Request Attachment Details report, applies ancestor inheritance to values that arrive through dimension mapping, and fixes issues with Bulk Upload, Migration, OneStream deployments, exports, and the Request page.

  • New user interface: a modernized look and navigation for business users, administrators, and application designers
  • Reports: a new Request Attachment Details report shows who attached which files to requests, and when
  • Mapped dimensions: ancestor inheritance passes values to descendants when a change arrives through mapping
  • Migration: the Replace option removes security groups that aren't in the import file
  • OneStream: deployments succeed when several members are moved and renamed in the same request
  • Export module: correct derived properties for alternate hierarchies, and correct property values when several requests edit the same member
  • Request page: Bulk Upload locks the application and dimension while a file is processed, every workflow appears in the Workflow list, and Property Changes shows the prior value of formula properties

New Features

Redesigned user interface

EPMware has a redesigned user interface. It modernizes the application's appearance and user experience for business users, administrators, and application designers, while keeping EPMware's metadata management, governance, and workflow capabilities.

What's new in the interface:

  • Look and feel: a redesigned menu with a scroll bar, refreshed fonts and images, and a clearer presentation of metadata in requests.
  • Navigation menu: a menu on the left groups every area of EPMware: Dashboard, Explorer, Workflow, Logic Builder, Deployment, ERP Import, Export, Administration, Audit, Security, and Configuration.
  • Tabs: each page you open, such as a request, the Metadata Explorer, Export, or Configuration, stays open in a tab across the top, so you can switch between them.
  • Dashboard: lists requests, with filters for My Actions Required, My Requests, All Open Requests, and All Requests.
  • Unsaved changes: if you leave a page with unsaved changes, EPMware asks whether to leave or stay.
  • Confirmations: a message appears after actions such as saving a formula or renaming a member.
  • Help menu: links to the EPMware Documentation Center and to each guide.

The redesigned interface is on for every customer with this release.

EW-2660: Request Attachment Details report

A new Request Attachment Details report lists the files attached to requests, to support auditing and compliance reviews.

To run it, go to Audit → Reports, select the Requests report group, and select Request Attachment Details. You can filter by request IDs, requestor, request status, request description (with * as a wildcard), request date, request due date, and workflow.

The output shows, for each attachment, the request ID, who uploaded the file and when, and the file size. To see the contents of a file, open its request.

Enhancements

Ancestor inheritance applies to values from dimension mapping

When a property uses ancestor inheritance, a value set on a parent passes to its descendants. Values that arrived through dimension or property mapping didn't pass to descendants in the mapped dimension. They now do, based on the property's configuration.

For example, an EBS application maps to the CAPEX dimension in another application, where a custom property such as Text1 uses ancestor inheritance. When EBS changes Text1 on a parent and the mapping updates that parent in the target application, the parent's descendants in the target now get the new value too.

Fixed Issues

EW-2568: The Request page's Workflow list showed only 25 workflows

On the Request page, the Workflow list showed only the first 25 workflows, so when more than 25 were configured, users couldn't select the rest. The list now shows every workflow available to the user.

EW-2596: Exports showed incorrect property values when several requests edited the same member

When the same member was edited in more than one request with different workflow statuses, exports didn't always separate committed changes from pending ones. This often happens when different business groups manage different properties of the same member. For example, one request is deployed and completed, another is still pending, and the export runs with Include Pending Requests turned off.

Exports now evaluate property values by request status:

  • Changes from completed requests are included.
  • Changes that exist only in pending requests are left out when Include Pending Requests is off. Those properties keep their committed values.

EW-2643: Property Changes showed the current formula as the prior value

On the Request page, when you opened the full value of a large formula property in Property Changes (the property delta view), the prior value showed the current formula instead of the original one. This affected large text (CLOB) properties, including member formulas in OneStream, Essbase, and Planning applications. The prior value now shows the original formula, so you can compare it with the new one.

EW-2654: Migration Replace didn't remove security groups missing from the import file

When EPMware security groups were imported in the Migration module with the Replace option, existing security groups that weren't in the imported XML file weren't removed. Replace now removes them, so the target matches the imported security group definitions.

EW-2656: OneStream deployments failed when several members were moved and renamed in one request

In OneStream applications, deployment could fail when two or more members were moved to a new parent and then renamed in the same request, because the previous sibling information didn't reflect the order in which the changes were applied. Hierarchy changes are now deployed in the correct order, with previous sibling references that match the target application's hierarchy.

EW-2657: Derived properties were wrong when exporting alternate hierarchies

In the Export module, derived properties that reference values from members in the primary hierarchy, such as Currency, UDA, or UDF properties, weren't calculated correctly when an export included only an alternate hierarchy branch, or exported the alternate branch before the primary branch. Derived properties are now calculated correctly in both cases.

Bulk Upload: Application and Dimension could be changed while a file was processing

After a file was uploaded in the Bulk Upload dialog, the Application and Dimension selections stayed available, so users could select a different application or dimension by mistake while the file was processing. They're now grayed out once the file is uploaded, which also shows that the file is being processed.
