Highlights¶

This is a minor release containing new features and enhancements to existing features, and API additions. The features of this release were developed to enhance the design capabilities, performance, and improve ease of use of applications. System administrators and users will benefit from the enhancements across their application.

OneStream: Clone Member for extended members, plus deployment fixes for more than 50 shared members and members with internal ID 0
Performance: faster Migration Import and very large Bulk Upload files
Reports: Property Configurations - Validations is renamed Property Configurations - Check SQL Syntax
Fixes: Essbase restricted-character validation, Oracle Fusion Cloud deployments with multiple large dimensions, and the export record count

Enhancements¶

EW-2490: OneStream Extended Dimension Clone Member Enhancements¶

In OneStream applications, when the Clone Member action is performed on an extended member within an Entity Dimension, the cloned member will now:

Be created in the source dimension
Automatically create an extended node in the current dimension
Copy all member properties correctly, including:
- Formula properties
- Alias properties
- Other supported property types

EW-2532: Migration Import Performance Improvements¶

Performance improvements have been implemented for Migration Import processing, particularly for Property Configuration artifacts, which previously took longer than expected to import.

EW-2540: Performance Improvements for Very Large Bulk Upload Files¶

Optimized Bulk Upload processing for very large files containing operations such as:

Create Member
Edit Member Properties

Enhancements improve handling of files exceeding 25,000 lines.

Custom or standard property validations
Derivations
Pre/Post Hierarchy Action logic scripts

EW-2544: Updated Report Title for SQL Validation Report¶

The report title:

Property Configurations - Validations

has been renamed to:

Property Configurations - Check SQL Syntax

The updated title more clearly reflects the purpose of the report, which validates SQL configurations such as:

LOV SQL
Dynamic Gray-Out SQL
Default Value SQL
Other property-related SQL configurations

Fixed Issues¶

EW-2529: Essbase Standard Validation Checks Incorrect Member Name for Restricted Characters¶

The Essbase Standard Validation Script incorrectly validated the Parent Member Name for restricted characters instead of validating the new member being created.

The validation logic has been corrected to properly validate the new member name.

Restricted characters include:

Double quotes (")
Square brackets ([ ])
TAB characters

EW-2530: OneStream Deployment Failure with More Than 50 Shared Members¶

OneStream deployments failed when a request contained more than 50 Insert Shared Member actions, either under a single parent or across multiple parents.

Root Cause: Deployment file generation was not properly closing files associated with shared member creation. After 50 open files, database errors occurred.

Fix: Deployment files are now properly closed during processing.

EW-2536: Oracle Fusion Cloud Deployment Failure with Multiple Large Dimensions¶

Deployment to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications failed when requests included multiple large dimensions.

Fix: Deployment file generation has been corrected to ensure:

No duplicate files are generated per dimension
All deployment files are created accurately
ZIP package contents are validated correctly for each dimension

EW-2538: Incorrect Export Record Count When Removing Duplicates¶

The export footer field <EXPORT_RECORD_COUNT> displayed incorrect values when the "Remove Duplicates Using Property Values" option was enabled.

This issue has been corrected.

EW-2539: OneStream Deployment Failure for Members with Internal ID = 0¶

In OneStream, member ID sequences can begin with 0.

When users attempted to edit members with an internal ID of 0, the deployment adapter failed to recognize the member as valid.

This issue has been resolved.
