Highlights¶
This is a minor release containing new features and enhancements to existing features, and API additions. The features of this release were developed to enhance the design capabilities, performance, and improve ease of use of applications. System administrators and users will benefit from the enhancements across their application.
- Audit: detailed change history for users, groups, security classes, reports, and SSO configurations
- Reports: new ERP Interface Configuration and Mapping, Global Metadata Search, and infrastructure configuration reports
- Essbase (BSO): two new Data Storage validations
- Oracle PBCS and EPM Cloud: Hierarchy Type as a node-level property, plus new Cube Refresh, ASO aggregation, and Clear Cube deployment APIs
- Metadata download: Top Member Name filled in automatically, and derived properties included
- Fixes: duplicate request lines from repeated Enter key presses, property mapping across application types, and the
get_execution_detailsREST API

EW-2401: Capture Audit Details for Users and Groups¶
Audit logging has been extended to capture detailed change history for Users and Groups, aligned with the broader audit framework.

EW-2435: New Reports for ERP Interface Configuration and Mapping Details¶
Added two new reports to provide better visibility into ERP Interface Configuration and Mapping Details.
EW-2437: New Standard Validations for Essbase (BSO) Data Storage Property¶
Added two new validations to improve error visibility and prevent ambiguous Essbase errors.
Validation 1: Essbase previously returned a generic error during cube restructuring that was difficult to diagnose.
Scenario:
- Parent member has Data Storage other than Dynamic Calc or Dynamic Calc and Store.
- Two Pass Calculation is disabled for the parent.
- At least one child member has Two Pass Calculation enabled.
- Parent Data Storage is changed to Dynamic Calc or Dynamic Calc and Store.
Result: A clear, user-friendly validation error is now shown.
Validation 2: Level-0 members with Data Storage = Dynamic Calc must have a Member Formula defined. If not, a validation error is displayed.
Enhancements¶
EW-1650: Audit Tracking for User/Group Unassignments¶
Unassignments (e.g., users removed from groups, property deletions) are now captured in the audit archive tables using the unified audit framework.
EW-2398: Enable/Disable Export Formats from Grid¶
The Enabled checkbox is now editable directly in the Export Format Grid.
EW-2400: Show Member Description in Member Search Popups¶
Member descriptions are now displayed in the Member Search popup on the Explorer and Request pages.
The description appears alongside the member name, consistent with the Explorer hierarchy view.
EW-2402: Show Full Error Message in Submit Status Popup¶
When workflow submit validations fail, the full error message is now viewable via horizontal scrolling in the status popup.
EW-2411: Environment Label Alignment¶
The Environment label is now center-aligned consistently on both left and right placements.
EW-2412: Performance Improvement for Insert Shared Member (Bulk Upload)¶
Optimized performance by caching logic in the EW_SHARED_NODE_POSITION script to avoid repetitive execution for each member.
EW-2413: New Deployment APIs for Oracle PBCS and EPM Cloud¶
Added new APIs to support:
- Cube Refresh
- Execute ASO Aggregation
- Clear Cube (ASO)
These APIs extend deployment capabilities for Oracle PBCS and EPM Cloud applications.
Admin Guide updates are required.
EW-2419: Auto-Populate Top Member Name in Metadata Download¶
The Top Member Name is now automatically populated when downloading metadata from the Explorer.
EW-2421: Performance Improvement for Top Member LOV in Export Details¶
Improved performance for loading the Top Member Name LOV in large dimensions (e.g., 240K members), aligning behavior with Audit Report parameters.
EW-2422: New "Global Metadata Search" Report¶
Added a new report to search for a specified string across:
- Applications
- Member Names
- Property Values
EW-2425: Include Derived Properties in Metadata Download¶
Metadata downloads initiated from the Explorer now include derived properties, in addition to primary properties.
EW-2427: Export Details: Include Member Properties Confirmation Popup¶
For Create (+) actions only, the Include Member Properties option has been moved to a confirmation popup shown on Save, providing clearer user confirmation.

EW-2432: Show Environment-Mapping-Only Applications in Configuration Report¶
Applications flagged as Environment Mapping Only are now included in the Application Configuration Report.
EW-2436: UI Total Count Updates After Record Deletion¶
Fixed an issue where the total record count displayed below grids was not updated after deleting records.

Fixed Issues¶
EW-2356: REST API get_execution_details Not Returning Latest Record¶
When calling get_execution_details with latest_only = Y, the API incorrectly returned the first execution instead of the latest.
This has been fixed.
EW-2408: Incorrect Error Message When Deleting Dependent Request Lines¶
When a request contains a Rename or Edit action followed by a dependent child creation, deleting the first line previously displayed an incorrect message:
"Selected member and all of its children will be deleted."
This messaging has been corrected.
EW-2426: Duplicate Request Lines Created by Repeated Enter Key Press¶
Using the Enter key repeatedly in Create Member or Clone Member popups could submit actions multiple times, creating duplicate request lines.
Fix: Duplicate submissions are now prevented by disabling repeated Enter-key execution and adding safeguards at the database level.
EW-2428: Oracle PBCS Hierarchy Type Property Enhancement¶
For Oracle PBCS (ASO cubes), the Hierarchy Type property has been enhanced and is now treated as a node-level property with the following options:
- Stored
- Dynamic
- Multiple
This improves performance tuning and hierarchy flexibility.
EW-2430: Insert Member Property Mapping Across Application Types¶
When inserting members across different application types, properties with the same label but different data types were incorrectly mapped.
Fix: Properties are now mapped only when both the property label and property type match exactly (Member-level, Node-level, Alias, or CLOB).
EW-2433: Duplicate Property Labels in Property Validation Configuration¶
If a dimension was removed from a Property Validation Configuration record, property labels were shown multiple times.
Fix:
- Property selection is cleared when the dimension is removed, or
- Property selection is disabled until a dimension is chosen.
