Release 26.07.109

Version Test release Production release Agent update
26.07.109 (July 2026) July 18, 2026 July 31, 2026 No agent update

Highlights

This is a minor release containing new features and enhancements to existing features, and API additions. The features of this release were developed to enhance the design capabilities, performance, and improve ease of use of applications. System administrators and users will benefit from the enhancements across their application.

  • Oracle HCM: new application adapter
  • Reports: new Metadata Audit, Application Properties, Dimension Properties, and Dimension Classes reports
  • New APIs: check whether a property was modified in a request, and pass a list of Request Line IDs to agent deployments
  • Derived properties: searchable in the Metadata Explorer and Request pages, and left out of Bulk Upload templates
  • Fixes: Deleted Members report, mapping one property to several, duplicate values in the Vary By popup, and derived property values in exports

New Features

EW-2569: New Oracle HCM Application Adapter

Added a new application adapter for Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM).

Process Overview:

  1. Users create new Worker records in Oracle HCM.
  2. EPMware users create or update the PBCS Staff dimension by importing the Oracle HCM Worker file through ERP Import.
  3. The ERP Import process updates both:
    • The EPMware PBCS application
    • The Oracle Fusion application, since the Staff dimension is also part of the GL structure
  4. During ERP Import, EPMware automatically assigns a unique Member Name to new Staff members using a predefined prefix and generated sequence number.
  5. Oracle HCM is then updated to populate the Worker's External Identifier attribute with the generated PBCS Member Name.

Enhancements

EW-2573: New Request API to Check Whether a Property Was Modified

Added a new API to the EW_REQ_API package to determine whether a specific property was modified for a given member in a request.

This API can be used in Workflow Custom Tasks and Logic Builder scripts to drive conditional processing based on property changes.

API Using Application and Dimension Names:

FUNCTION chk_req_has_prop_updated
 (p_request_id NUMBER,
  p_app_name VARCHAR2,
  p_dim_name VARCHAR2,
  p_member_name VARCHAR2,
  p_parent_member_name VARCHAR2,
  p_prop_name VARCHAR2)
RETURN VARCHAR2;

Overloaded API Using IDs:

FUNCTION chk_req_has_prop_updated
 (p_request_id NUMBER,
  p_app_dimension_id NUMBER,
  p_member_id NUMBER,
  p_prop_name VARCHAR2)
RETURN VARCHAR2;

The function returns Y if the specified property was modified for the member in the request.

The Logic Builder API Guide should be updated to include this API.

EW-2574: New Request Line ID List Parameter for Agent Deployment API

Enhanced the existing exec_direct_deploy API in the ew_agent_api package.

This API is used to trigger deployments from Workflow Custom Stages or Post Export Logic Scripts. A new optional parameter, p_request_line_id_list, has been added to pass a comma-separated list of Request Line IDs associated with the deployment.

Updated API:

PROCEDURE exec_direct_deploy
 (p_app_name IN VARCHAR2,
  p_app_dimension_id IN NUMBER DEFAULT NULL,
  p_request_line_id IN NUMBER DEFAULT NULL,
  p_request_line_id_list IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL,
  p_dep_file_name IN VARCHAR2,
  p_dep_file_data IN BLOB,
  p_override_agt_params IN ew_global.g_value_tbl,
  p_dep_config_name IN VARCHAR2,
  p_user_id IN NUMBER,
  x_deployment_id OUT NUMBER,
  x_status OUT VARCHAR2,
  x_message              OUT VARCHAR2);

The Logic Builder Guide should be updated to include this new parameter.

EW-2577: Exclude Derived Properties from Bulk Upload Templates

Derived properties are now excluded from the Bulk Upload template when users download the template from the Bulk Upload popup.

This prevents users from attempting to upload values for derived properties that are calculated by the system.

EW-2579: Search Members Using Derived Properties

Users can now search for members in the Metadata Explorer and Request pages using derived property values.

Previously, derived properties were not included in member search criteria.

EW-2581: New Metadata Audit Report

Added a new Metadata Audit Report to the Metadata Report Group.

This report provides a simplified view of metadata changes without requiring users to navigate through detailed request information. It is designed to support downstream applications, auditors, and business users.

Report Columns:

  • App Name
  • Dimension Name
  • Deploy Date
  • Action
  • Member Name
  • Parent Member Name
  • Property
  • Old Property Value
  • New Property Value
  • Request ID

EW-2583: Add Request ID to Debug Messages Report

The Debug Messages report now includes the Request ID in the Source Ref ID column.

This helps users and administrators troubleshoot issues by linking debug messages to the related request.

EW-2584: Remove Property Mapping Details When Dimension Mapping Is Deleted

When a user deletes a Dimension Mapping configuration record, EPMware now automatically removes the associated Property Mapping records.

This prevents orphaned mapping configurations and keeps the mapping setup consistent.

EW-2590: Validate Invalid Property Labels in Bulk Upload Templates

Bulk Upload now validates property labels and names in the upload template for Create and Edit Property-related action lines.

Previously, invalid property labels were ignored without displaying an error.

If the template contains invalid property labels, EPMware now displays an appropriate validation message.

EW-2591: Purge Export Books Based on Export Profile Purge Days

Export Books are now purged using the same purge-day rules defined for Export Profiles.

Previously, EPMware purged export results older than the configured number of days, but Export Books were not included in the purge process.

EW-2593: New Application Properties Audit Report

Added a new Configuration Audit Report called Application Properties.

This report displays audit details for application-level property changes.

EW-2594: New Dimension Properties Report

Added a new Configuration Report called Dimension Properties.

This report lists dimension-level property details for configured applications and dimensions.

EW-2595: New Dimension Classes Report

Added a new report to display the Dimension Classes associated with applications.

This report provides better visibility into application dimension-class configuration.

Fixed Issues

EW-2582: Deleted Members Audit Report Shows Incorrect Hierarchy Actions

The Deleted Members report is expected to return only members for which the Delete Member action was performed. However, the report also included members from other hierarchy actions, such as Edit Member.

This issue has been corrected. The report now displays only members that were deleted for the selected Application and Dimension.

EW-2588: Error When Mapping One Source Property to Multiple Target Properties

Resolved an issue where Property Mapping produced errors when one source property was mapped to multiple properties in the mapped dimension.

For example, if a user mapped the Data Storage property from the source application to multiple Data Storage properties in the mapped application, the system previously returned an error.

This scenario is now supported.

EW-2597: Vary By Properties Popup Shows Duplicate Stored Values

For hierarchy-type Vary By properties, such as Percent Ownership and Percent Consolidation, property values are stored at the node level. This means the values may differ between the primary and shared instances of the same member.

Previously, the Vary By Properties popup displayed stored values for all nodes, including both primary and shared instances, which caused duplicate values to appear.

This issue has been corrected by passing the selected Hierarchy ID to the source view EW_MEMBER_PROP_STORED_ITEMS_V. The popup now displays only the stored values for the selected node.

This change applies to both the Metadata Explorer and Create Request screens.

EW-2600: Incorrect Derived Property Values in Export

Resolved an issue where exports did not always display the correct values for derived properties that referenced hierarchy-type properties.

Exports now correctly evaluate and display derived property values in these scenarios.
