Release 26.06.108

Version Test release Production release Agent update
26.06.108 (June 2026) June 12, 2026 June 26, 2026 No agent update

Highlights

This is a minor release containing new features and enhancements to existing features, and API additions. The features of this release were developed to enhance the design capabilities, performance, and improve ease of use of applications. System administrators and users will benefit from the enhancements across their application.

  • Global Settings: restricted characters for member names and property values
  • Dimensions: sort members automatically by member name
  • New APIs: REST APIs for request details, and Logic Builder APIs for unique ERP Import property values and request action lines
  • ERP Import and Bulk Upload: new Edit+Move action, New Member Derivation Logic Scripts during ERP Import, and Edit and Move in any order
  • Fixes: Insert Member with Include Children, property values in mapped dimensions, and Essbase formulas with carriage returns

New Features

EW-2545: Global Settings for Restricted Characters

Added new Global Settings that allow administrators to define characters that are not permitted in member names or property values across all applications and dimensions.

Previously, enforcing organization-wide character restrictions required Logic Scripts to be created and assigned to multiple dimensions and properties. This required significant configuration and introduced additional Logic Script processing overhead.

The new Global Settings provide a centralized and more efficient method for enforcing these restrictions.

EW-2567: Automatically Sort Dimension Members by Member Name

Added a new option to the Dimension Configuration screen:

  • Field: Auto Sort Members Using Member Name
  • Display Type: Checkbox
  • Default Value: N — Unchecked
  • Placement: After the Derived field

When this option is enabled, members in the dimension are automatically sorted alphanumerically by member name.

Because enabling this option may change the order of existing members, users are prompted with the following confirmation message:

Enabling Auto Sort Members will automatically sort all existing members by Member Name and may change the current member order. Are you sure you want to proceed?

If the user selects Yes, EPMware applies the new sorting order to the dimension.

Enhancements

EW-2537: Include Shared-Instance Properties in Metadata Explorer Exports

Metadata exports initiated from the Metadata Explorer using the Excel icon now include member-level properties for shared instances.

Previously, properties such as Alias, Description, and UDA were not included for shared nodes, although similar functionality was available through Export Profile Details.

Shared instances now include all applicable member-level properties by default.

EW-2541: New REST APIs for Retrieving Request Details

Added new REST APIs for retrieving detailed EPMware request information.

These APIs support integrations such as the OneStream Marketplace Dashboard and other external applications that require access to request details.

EW-2552: New Logic Builder API for Retrieving Unique ERP Import Property Values

Added a new API to the EW_IF_API package that retrieves a list of unique property values from the ERP Import interface table for the current execution.

This eliminates the need for developers to scan the interface table directly or determine which interface column is mapped to a particular property.

API:

PROCEDURE ew_if_api.get_unique_prop_values
 (p_name IN VARCHAR2,
  p_prop_label IN VARCHAR2,
  x_prop_values OUT ew_global.g_char_tbl);

Input Parameters:

  • ERP Import Configuration Name
  • Property Label

Output Parameter:

  • List of unique property values contained in the current ERP Import execution

Example Use Case: An ERP Import processes the Employee dimension and includes a Department attribute property. If a new Department value is supplied, the corresponding Department member may need to be created in a separate request before the Employee import can be completed successfully.

The new API can retrieve all unique Department values from the current interface execution so that missing Department members can be identified and created.

EW-2553: New Logic Builder API to Check Member Actions Within a Request

Added new APIs to the EW_REQ_API package that determine whether a non-canceled request line exists for a specified member and hierarchy action.

API Using Application and Dimension Names:

FUNCTION chk_member_has_action_line
 (p_request_id NUMBER,
  p_app_name VARCHAR2,
  p_dim_name VARCHAR2,
  p_action_name VARCHAR2,
  p_member_name VARCHAR2,
  p_parent_member_name VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL)
RETURN VARCHAR2;

API Using Application Dimension ID:

FUNCTION chk_member_has_action_line
 (p_request_id NUMBER,
  p_app_dimension_id NUMBER,
  p_action_name VARCHAR2,
  p_member_name VARCHAR2,
  p_parent_member_name VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL)
RETURN VARCHAR2;

Each function returns Y when the request contains a matching, non-canceled action line.

The Logic Builder Guide must be updated to include these APIs.

EW-2555: Execute New Member Derivation Logic Scripts During ERP Import

ERP Import now executes configured New Member Derivation Logic Scripts when creating new members.

Previously, these scripts were invoked only when members were created manually from the Request page.

Example: A Property Derivation Logic Script may automatically generate a member name using a sequence such as 0001, 0002, and so forth when a specified member-name prefix is provided.

This derivation now executes consistently for both manually created members and members created through ERP Import.

EW-2562: Process ERP Import Edit and Move Actions in Any Sequence

ERP Import now processes Edit and Move information correctly regardless of the order in which parent and move-related values appear in the interface file.

The combined Create or Edit+Move action can create a member when it does not exist or edit and move an existing member.

Previously, the process worked when the new parent was supplied in the Parent Member column. However, when both the current Parent Member and the Moved-to Parent Member were supplied, the Move action succeeded but the Edit action could fail.

This issue has been corrected so that Edit and Move actions are processed successfully for all supported input sequences.

EW-2563: New "Edit+Move" Action for Bulk Upload and ERP Import

Added a new combined action code called Edit+Move to both Bulk Upload and ERP Import.

The existing Create or Edit+Move action creates a new member when one does not exist or edits and moves an existing member.

The new Edit+Move action does not create new members. It only edits and/or moves members that already exist.

EW-2565: Apply Ancestor Inheritance During Move Actions

Resolved an issue where ancestor-based property inheritance was not recalculated when a member was moved to a new parent.

If the target parent had different inherited property values, those values were not applied to the moved member or its descendants.

Ancestor inheritance is now recalculated and applied correctly to the moved member and all affected descendant members following a Move action.

Fixed Issues

EW-2549: Insert Member Action with "Include Children" Skips Shared Descendant Nodes

Resolved an issue with the Insert Member action when the Include Children option was enabled.

When the selected member had immediate children that were shared nodes, the Insert Member action worked correctly and created both the selected member and its shared children in the target dimension. However, shared nodes located at deeper descendant levels were skipped.

The Insert Member action now includes shared nodes at all descendant levels when Include Children is selected.

EW-2550: OneStream Aggregation Weight Not Updated for Extended Members

In OneStream applications, the Aggregation Weight property was not updated correctly when the description of an extended member was also changed in the same request.

This issue has been corrected so that both the Aggregation Weight and Description changes are deployed successfully.

EW-2551: Essbase Deployment Failure for Member Formulas Containing Carriage Returns

Essbase deployments failed when member formulas contained carriage-return or line-break characters.

Formula processing has been updated so that Essbase deployments now correctly handle formulas containing carriage returns.

EW-2554: Bulk Upload Does Not Propagate Property Values to Mapped Dimensions

When creating new members through Bulk Upload, property values supplied in the upload file were not propagated to mapped target dimensions when Dimension Mapping was enabled for the processing application.

This issue has been resolved. Property values supplied during member creation are now correctly propagated to mapped dimensions.

EW-2556: Bulk Upload Failure When Removing a Shared Instance of a OneStream Extended Member

Bulk Upload failed when attempting to remove a shared instance of an extended member from an Entity-type dimension in a OneStream application.

This issue has been corrected.

EW-2559: Duplicate Column Order Values Assigned in Export Format

In the Export module, properties added to the Export Format tab after the initial configuration could be assigned duplicate Column Order values.

This issue has been corrected so that every property in the Export Format is assigned a unique column order.

EW-2566: Default Property Values Not Propagated Through Property Mapping

When properties were mapped between two dimensions, default values assigned to a newly created member in the source dimension were not propagated to the corresponding member in the target dimension.

This issue has been corrected. Default property values are now included when Property Mapping creates or updates members in mapped dimensions.

Example: If Account Type is mapped between a PBCS application and an Oracle Fusion application, the default Account Type value assigned during member creation in PBCS is now propagated to the corresponding Fusion member.
